Learn all about Envision Dietetics, and why they are the right fit for you. Envision Dietetics has compiled some of the most frequently asked questions that they have received over the years. They have tried to answer all of your inquiries, but if there is something that was missed, please do not hesitate to reach out.

WHAT IS A DIETITIAN AND WHY SHOULD YOU SEE ONE?

A registered dietitian is a nutrition expert who has met certain credentialing requirements, which include obtaining a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, having at least 1200 hours of supervised practice, passing the national exam from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and maintaining continuing education.

Dietitians can always help with the more commonly known obstacles of healthy eating and food allergies, but they offer a wide set of services on top of that! Dietitians help clients manage diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. They can also help people ease their digestive issues such as IBS and Crohn's disease.

WHAT IS THE INITIAL CONSULTATION LIKE?

The purpose of the initial consultation is for the dietitian to gain knowledge about your eating patterns. After a series of questions, you will discuss the next steps toward making your goal a reality.

DO I NEED TO DO/ BRING ANYTHING TO MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

Yes! There are first-time patient forms that need to be filled out prior to the first appointment. These can be found in the 'Patient Forms' tab.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES ENVISION DIETETICS TAKE?

You may pay through the website with your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account when you set up your appointment.
If there is an issue with this option, you may contact us to schedule an appointment and pay in person with cash.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN SERVICES?

No, insurance does not directly cover these services at this time.

WILL I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes, you will be refunded for cancelled appointments if you cancel prior to 48 before your appointment. If you cancel less than 48 hours from your appointment, you will be refunded, but also subjected to a late cancellation fee.

IS THERE FLEXIBILITY IN SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT OUTSIDE OF THE TIMES OFFERED ON THE WEBSITE?

Yes, please contact Envision Dietetics for additional times that will better accommodate your schedule.
